Team Name Campaign
Description
The Team Name Campaign project was the first project we participated in for our 9th Grade Year. The goal was to come up with a name within our group that we would campaign for and then convince the other campaign groups to vote for ours - Super Cool Party People. To make the campaign more interesting, each group member would produce some sort of product. I chose to make T-shirts that had our logo, name and our name in Chinese. I also decided to make hats that only contained the Chinese writing of Super Cool Party People. Lastly, I created a video to promote our name and make our presentation more engaging. After all of the presentations were viewed, each student voted for their top three team name choices. The top three were Super Cool Party People, Funky Monkeys and Team Super Awesome. The final three then presented to the whole ninth grade, along with the final three from the Acker/Frederick team. The classes then voted for their official team name and the winner was our group, Super Cool Party People. From this project I have learned many new things. I have learned how to efficiently market a product and how important publicity is. I've learned how to enthusiastically present facts, videos and products. I am most proud of the video I made, because it was the most unique thing created.
